Family life is so important to young people leading healthy lives. As part of our work, we give mums and dads opportunities to have that all-important time out, as well as opportunities to meet other parents and share parenting tips together. We also provide courses that will help parents better understand some of the key things affecting young people today.

Mental Health First Aid for Parents

We all have mental health. Better mental health is good for everyone and recognising this is good for society. For parents, taking time to understand mental health means you can feel more confident to support your child if they find themselves struggling. Mental Health First aid is a great way to do that.

Care For the Family Courses

The teenage years are a time of transition and can be challenging for both teenagers and parents. Our two courses from ‘Care for the Family’ are all about helping mums and dads do the best job they can as they navigate these years with their teenager. The evenings are a relaxed, informal session giving you the opportunity to talk about the day-to-day challenges you face, as well as sharing the things that are going well. These courses are not about telling anyone how to be a parent, but rather give a great opportunity for parents to get together and support one another.
