where empathy grows

Free Counselling Support for Your Family

We offer free counselling support for parents, grandparents and carers. Our friends at Just Drop-In also offer counselling at Wilmslow Youth for young people, and you can self-refer to their service here.

Counsellors are trained to listen and find a way to help using a variety of different approaches.

Our service is run by our Counselling Coordinator and a small team of volunteer and student therapists, who are registered with the BACP and abide by their ethical framework for good practice.

Sometimes all of us need support or guidance to help us work through difficult circumstances or emotions. Whether it’s about family, relationships, mental health, difficult situations, or anything else, our team of listeners is available for 1-to-1 conversations to offer you a safe place to share the things that are on your mind.

When are the appointments?

Our counselling for parents and carers runs throughout the day on Friday each week.

How do I access counselling?

You don’t need a referral from school or a GP to access our counselling service. You can refer yourself. Just fill in the form below and a member of our team will be in touch to discuss the best support for you:
